Pastor Alicia Cruz Rodriguez, MSN, age 80, of Las Vegas, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 5, 2024. She was born on November 1, 1943 in Guiguinto, Bulacan, Philippines and had been a Las Vegas resident for more than 20 years.
Pastor Rodriguez spoke the word of God through Jesus Reigns Ministries for the more than ten years and performed her services as a missionary in the Philippines. Prior to her ministry, she worked as a registered nurse in Michigan, retiring in 1999. She enjoyed reading the Bible, traveling, fashion and watching Gaither, Gilligan’s Island and Three’s Company. She was an avid Vegas Golden Knights fan and enjoyed listening to Martin Nievera.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Rafael Cruz, Renato Cruz and sister: Angelina Cruz.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Emmanuel; children: Emmanuel (Kathryn) Rodriguez, Michaela (Marty) Goodrich and Mirasol Rodriguez; grandchildren: Gabriella, Nicomedes (Haley), Lauren, Michaela Rodriguez, Joseph, Christian Goodrich and Noah Hubert; brother: Raul (Josephine) Cruz and sister: Annabella (Ernesto) Dulce.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 1-3pm, with funeral services beginning at 3pm, all at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas.
