I miss you so much Mom. I think of you so much everyday. I hope you like the changes we have made to the condo.  Doug and I will be moving in soon. It has been fun decorating it in our style.  I miss my greatest cheerleader who loved me so much and always wanted the best for me.  I know we will be together again one day.  Love you always and forever.

I have not stopped thinking about  you since the day I heard you were gone. I can't express enough the gratitude I have for you and all that you have done for me.  I looked up to you in so many more ways than you even knew.  I will miss you so much and I have no doubt we will see each other again one day. May you rest in peace my friend.

You know, not many people can say they were close to their Grandmother. And boy was I blessed to have a wonderful friendship with mine. Grandma, I miss you terribly. But I know you're at peace and with Grandpa watching over us. I'll cherish our relationship for the rest of my life and instill all the wisdom and knowledge you have given me into my future family. I'll always look for you in the sunrise. I thank God everyday for allowing us to share that as our last moment together on earth. Your beautiful everglow is imprinted in my heart. Thank you for a lifetime of memories, love, and confidence. I love you forever, Grandma!

It's been 3 weeks since my wonderful Grandma took her last breath. 21 days, and it's still not easy for me to talk about her without tears. There has not been a day that's passed that I haven't thought about her, and I don't see a day in the future when that changes. I am so grateful to have had 31 years of her wisdom and wittiness in my life. She was such a fine example of a lady. I think it is so special having a close relationship with a grandparent into your years of maturity. She had such a kind and caring heart, always wanting to talk about what was going on with me in my life, and she always listened and remembered even if months had passed since I had seen her. Pretty sure her memory was better than mine, even in her 102nd year. It has been very hard living away from her for the past 7, almost 8 years. She was always my first and/or last stop on my visits home, with multiple stops in between,  before I'd get on the plane to go back to Nashville. Some of her last words to me were words that will stay with me forever. I think about that conversation almost daily. I will never forget that moment. She and I both knew it would be the last visit I would have with her alive, and she made every word count. She had so much love to give to everyone that she came into contact with, even the telemarketers ;-). I miss her so much. Trips back home to Vegas will forever feel as though there is something missing because I won't be able to see her face and hear her voice and just sit with her. She was so blessed with so many friends and a family that loved her dearly. I'll miss you forever Grandma.

I met Alice through her daughter, Penny and her family. Michelle and my daughter kelly were constant friends all through grade school and church so I'm kind of attached to the Vernier's. Penny had it arranged for me and my team to clean Alice's house. 
That is when I was formally introduced to this great woman. She automatically shared stories with me about the pictures she had around her home. 
I enjoyed so much listening to her stories from years gone by. What surprised me the most about Alice is at 99 and 100 years old, she would be on FACEBOOK. I can't tell you how many times she would respond to a post of mine with several sentences and I would say, " Alice, is this Michelle answering for you"! And she would always say, "
No, it's me, Alice".  Ha!! I was so fastinated by how well mentality she was. I have never met a 100 year old person ever that spoke and had it all together like Alice. She always gave to my Outreach whenever there was a need. She always seemed to stay in the loop of what we were doing in the streets. 
I had the privilege and honor to be invited to her 100th birthday party.  I still have that invitation. 
i will never forget that celebration & so extremely grateful I was invited. Alice will be deeply deeply missed. 
Her legacy will live on by her beautiful family. 
I can't wait to see her again Shining bright like a diamond in heaven and probably on Facebook.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of my dear friend Alice. We have been friends since the "library days" and always kept in touch. I will miss her friendship.

I've always know Alice as Aunt Larry. She was such an inspiration to me. She taught me so much about the Reid side of the family and family history. I loved our visits, phone calls, and emails. I will miss her optimism, her kindness, and her love that enveloped so many people. Aunt Larry, I love you. God bless.
