Precious son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, Alec Andrew Fischer, left his earthly home on October, 28th, 2020 to his Heavenly home after a hard fought battle with cancer. Alec was surrounded by his close family and friends at his passing. Alec is the son of Karen (O’Toole) and Ted Fischer of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Merrill and Frankenmuth, Michigan. He leaves behind a sister, Natalie Fischer, who loved him deeply and will miss him every day. He also leaves behind a special friend Jenna along with many other friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Alec was born on November 11th, 1992 in Kirkland, Washington where he spent his early childhood years as an energetic and loving boy, always dancing, singing, and playing with his sister. He moved to Las Vegas with his family in 2001 where he lived and graduated from Palo Verde High School. He was most recently employed by the Zappos Company where he had the opportunity to help many people. Alec was a loving, gentle, and kind man with simple needs. He was a wizard at any type of computer technology and enjoyed playing online games with his friends. He also had a true talent for art and drawing. He created the most beautiful, unique, and detailed drawings that we plan to compile and share. Drawing soothed his soul and will be part of his legacy which we will cherish.
An intimate prayer service was held for Alec at Faith Lutheran Community Church in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 31st. Although Alec left us much too early, we will always remember his strength and courage through this difficult fight. He will be missed by many and he will remain in our hearts and lives forever.
