She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete B. Cruz Jr.; parents Andres Modina and Trinidad Teano Modina; and child Mark Anthony Cruz.
Left to cherish her memory children Maria Ana Cruz Sullivan; son Paul Christopher Cruz; daughter in law Michelle Nillas Cruz; granddaughters Samantha Regine Cruz, Ayden Cheryl Sullivan; Caitlin Ashleigh Sullivan; grandson Bronson Anthony Cruz and plentiful of nieces and nephews from the Philippines, Guam, California and Chicago.
Aida was a proud Chicago resident for 30years and a business owner. Aida had a passion for travel, she cherished her many years and the many friends she made. She was a devout Catholic and an outstanding member of the community supporting the Lions Club where she loved doing charity work to help the less fortunate. She had a reputation for kindness, consideration and an easy going nature. Her selflessness in unmatched. Her dedication and devotion to her family was never ending and her highest priority.
More than a loving Mom, Lola, Tita, she was the foundation of our family.
We all considered ourselves blessed to be loved by Aida whether you were a member of her family, extended family or one of her many friends. Aida’s passing has left behind many broken hearts but her spirit, her faith and her zest for life will remain with us all forever.
