Agnes Truss Wesley

On April 27, 1946, Ruby Lee Truss gave birth to Agnes Christine Elizabeth Truss in Helfin, Alabama. Agnes’ parents (Mother) Ruby Lee Truss was worn February 7, 1913, and died February 16, 1987, and (Father) Willie R. Truss was born April 15, 1911, and died January 18, 1985. Agnes’ siblings: Earnest, Willie Lee, Annie Louise, Rosetta, Velma, John, Melvin, Jerlene, Carolyn and Phyllis. Throughout her life Agnes became a talented pianist and extraordinary singer playing at school and church events. Agnes got married and became a devoted parent to her children,step children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Agnes had three children: Eadie Marie Sharp-Wesley, Shawn Alexandra Sharp-Wesley, and Lisa Alanna Wesley. Angnes’ children preceded her in death with having buried her last living child (Shawn Alexandra Sharp) in November of 2020. Agnes worked for the Clark County School District, retiring after over 20 years of service. Agnes is survived by 9 grandchildren : Brandi Blood-Walker, Breion Blood-Riley, Britney Wesley, LeRhonda Wilson, Cameron Poole Jr., Keilaha Paige, Armon Broughton, Zartavious Broughton, and Raimon Broughton 3rd. 6 great grandchildren: Ka’Mariah Montenegro , Ezion Riley, Elias Riley Jr., Brinley Riley, Christian McCall-Paige, and a new great granddaughter soon to be born. After losing two of her children (Eadie and Lisa) Agnes focused her life raising and loving her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
