Agnes T. Mezzatesta, 90, of Las Vegas, passed away April 13, 2013. She was a devout Catholic and attended Holy Family Catholic Church, was a member of the Padre Pio Society and introduced the "Living Rosary" to Las Vegas. Agnes was a retired executive secretary for the U.S. Postmaster General in New York. She enjoyed flower arranging and designed many arrangements for weddings. She is survived by her twin sister, Claire Valletti; sister, Teresa (Edgar) VanHuele; and several nieces and nephews, Michele (Dimitri Spathis) Miller, Debbie (Andy) Gennuso, Anthony (Lisa) Mezzatesta, Michael (Heather) Mezzatesta, and Patricia (Jim) Kilduff. Agnes was the best Godmother around! Family will receive friends 5:30-6:30 p.m., Friday, April 19, with prayer services to follow, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
