MITCHELL, Wayne David, 63 of Belleair, FL passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Wayne was born on March 14, 1956 in Meriden, CT to the late Harry (Mitch) & Eleanor (Morey) Mitchell. He started his journey in Connecticut opening his first restaurant called the Cracker Barrel. Wayne continued in the hospitality and restaurant business running huge hotels and motels. He had many talents but his most important talent was the love and support he gave to his family. Wayne gave to all and helped many people along the way. There are endless stories of people who say it is thanks to Mr. Mitchell that I am who I am today. We lost a great man, friend, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Wayne left behind his gift of love that can be seen through all who knew and loved him. I know you are in heaven and Lynn was their waiting. We will see you again, please watch over us. Wayne is survived by his loving wife Virginia, his sons David, Giovanni Lacorte & Anthony, his daughters Jennifer, Michelle & Chrissy, grandchildren Christian, Cole, Sylvia, Julia, Ethan & Fisher and two brothers Paul & Robert.
