Mabel Shirley Curran of Largo, Florida passed away on October 12, 2021, at her daughters residence surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Born July 11, 1942, in Wellsville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Victorelli DeSarro.
She was a member of Saint Patrick Church of Largo, Florida.
She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Keith Edward Curran on November 22, 2012.
She was also proceeded in death by her siblings, Tony, Sam, John, Sarah, Joe, Frank, Theresa, Jack, Josephine, Rosemarie, Jean Ann, Betty Lou, Jimmy, Albert, Caroline, and baby Lenny.
She is survived by her daughter Jackie Heaton of Largo. A son Tom and wife Heather Curran of Toccoa, Georgia. Grandchildren, Joseph Heaton and wife Brianne, Hannah Curran, Sara Curran, Carmen Curran; great grandson Mason Heaton, and great granddaughter Harper Heaton, family friend Crystal Gildea and several loving nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by a sister Antoinette Means of Canton, Ohio and a brother Jerry Lee DeSarro of Salineville, Ohio.
Friends may visit Wednesday October 20 between 3pm and 4pm at Serenity Gardens, Largo Florida. Father Charles Leke Nkafu of St Patrick’s Church will be conducting a prayer service at that time. She will be buried at Roselane Cemetery in Toccoa, Georgia next to her loving husband.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society of Lung Association.
