Shirley Burns, 88, of Clearwater, FL, and formerly of Merrimac, MA, passed away on May 1st, 2024. Born on October 6th, 1935, in Williamstown, PA, Shirley was the beloved daughter of the late Hester and James Moss.
Shirley's journey began in the town of Williamstown, where she later attended Williamstown High School. Throughout her life, she exemplified resilience and warmth, touching the lives of many with her kindness and compassion.
In her professional career, Shirley dedicated herself to various customer service roles, where her friendly demeanor and genuine care left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.
Shirley found immense joy and fulfillment in her family life. She shared many beautiful years of marriage with her late husband, Richard Coppola, creating cherished memories that will forever be held dear. Shirley was married once before to William Burns, and together they had a beautiful daughter, Linda.
Shirley's legacy of love and strength lives on through her daughter, Linda Belanger and her husband Ronn, her stepson Richard Coppola and his wife Gail, as well as her stepdaughters Sue Come and Dianne Walker and her husband John. She is also fondly remembered by her two grandsons, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.
In every interaction and moment shared, Shirley's kindness and generosity shone brightly, leaving a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
