Roseman, Ronald “Ron” Lee, 80, of Belleair Shore, passed away on Tuesday, May 29th surrounded by his loving family. He will be missed dearly. Ron was born in Canton, Ohio to Edward and Phyllis Roseman in 1937, moved to Tampa at age 6, and graduated from Plant High School in 1955.
Ron could best be described as a man with an amazing heart, humble, who loved to laugh and joke. He valued many long term friendships with those who mentored him along the way. Many helped him along his career path and he paid that forward generously giving and teaching many to achieve their life goals. He was a lineman who loved nothing more than working in his tools. With God’s help and Ron’s dedication to hard work, he achieved turning that passion for his work to a publicly traded company. He often said he did not understand why God so blessed him. He loved power lifting and won the nationals twice after age 60. He loved to travel and explore with his wife, Deborah, especially enjoying their summers in Vancouver. He loved his favorite dog, Murphy, and going to NASCAR races whenever possible. Ron was a long time member of Anona United Methodist Church.
Ron is survived by the love of his life; Deborah. He is also survived by his daughter, Deborah Joyner and husband Tab Joyner, his sister and brother in law, Barbara and Jim Grace and his brother Ed. He was predeceased by son Rickie Roseman. Ron’s memory will live on in the hearts of each life he touched.
A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held at Anona United Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 13th at 1pm.
