Richard “Papa” Miller, Sr. 1933-2017 age 84, of Clearwater, FL passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. He was born in Louisville, OH on March 2, 1933. Richard was a devoted husband, loving father, and Army Veteran. He was also a gardener, growing a variety of delicious fruits and vegetables in his backyard, and a talented carpenter, rebuilding the small town of his childhood with handcrafted model trains extending 300 feet around his backyard.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy (Masters) Miller; his children, Vicki (James) Stellick, Rick (Toni) Miller, Bret (Lisa) Miller, and Sheri (Mike) Ward; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Though Papa is now celebrating with his Redeemer, Jesus Christ, he will be greatly missed. His legacy will live on through the family that he built on a foundation of humor, compassion, and relentless love.
