Peter Alan Prohaska

Peter Alan Prohaska 67, of Largo FL passed away October 2, 2014 at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in St. Petersburg FL. He was born in Englewood NJ and relocated to Largo in 2010 from Houston TX. Peter honorably served our country with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 10094 in Largo, and American Legion Post 252 in Seminole. He enjoyed golf and had a great sense of humor, loved to make people laugh, but most of all he treasured time with his family. Survivors include his wife Donna Prohaska Largo FL, son Donnie Kirby (Stephanie) Miami FL, daughters; Kendra Delashmutt (Doug) Shawnee KS, Michelle Fitzwater, and Lynne Sammons (Chuck) both of Houston TX, his mother Frances Prohaska Port St Lucie FL, brothers; Robert Prohaska (Carlette), George Prohaska, brother-in-law Dennis Donovan, sister Kathleen Weston (Richard), and six grandchildren; Haley, Jordan, Zack, Brady, Austin and Samantha. Interment with military honors will take place at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St Petersburg FL at a date and time to be announced.
