I had Nick on my prayer list and he said  he would put me on his. I  will keep him there and extend my condolences to all family .

Nick was a great man and our families have many fond memories of Nick and the boys, watching them grow through the years. Met the family in 1976 when I worked at Mr Sub. My family and I arrived Nov. 21 for our 10th annual Thanksgiving get together.  Went for lunch to our favorite Pajano's the following Mon. and were sorry to hear the news when we inquired about Nick.  I've been coming to IRB for 64 years so have had lots of good lunches and "chit chat". My heart grieves with the family. Nick was so good to me as a kid. I had the pleasure of running into him last time I was in IRB, and spent an hour talking with him. I was surprised he remembered me. As I was recently going through chemo and radiation therapy, I was also blessed with two steak and cheese subs making their way from Florida to California. For Pajanos to the entire Faraone family, my prayers lift up Nick to God and surround Monica with healing and love as she takes this difficult journey.  Ian Macdonald, son of Dr. Mac.

Our heart goes out to the Faraone family. While we lived in Florida just 2 brief years we loved to see "Papa Nick" at Pajano's and at the St. Patrick's Fun Fair. Nick, Mike, Tara, Tracy, Jim, and especially Mrs. Faraone, we are so very sorry for your loss. My father passed away in February at the young age of 64, so I empathize with you. Dear Papa Nick, I was 10 years old the first time I came into Pajano's Pizza and at that time I could barely see over the counter - that was 1971, the year you opened! It's been 42 years since that first time and every time I've been in Pajano's since then (which I'm sure is in the thousand's) you always greeted me the exact same way - with a big smile on your face and a sincere "Hi Ollie, how ya doin'?" Actually you treated all of us that way! Not just us little IRB beach bum kids like me but the thousands of visitors and tourists and construction guys and executives - everyone! Now that I have children of my own you always asked how my kids are doing! You probably didn't know this but I have a ritual with my kids that when they turn 21 and can legally drink I take them to Pajano's for either a pie or one of you "world famous" House Steaks and we get a pitcher of beer to share! My daughter just turned 21 the day before you left us and we haven't been to Pajano's yet for our ritual but it will be sad not to see you there! I do not believe a person should be measured by how much money they made or how many things they owned but by their family and the people who called him a true friend and Papa Nick by those accounts you are the most wealthiest person I know! Papa Nick, know that all of your friends will help watch over your family and keep them safe! May you rest in peace! Oliver Kugler and the entire Kugler Family.

It was our pleasure to know Nick for over 40 years; and to watch him and wife Monica as they matured and their children, Nick, Jr, Mike Tracy, and Tara grew. Nick was the dearest of dear men. I will miss him so much. I and all my Largo High friends have been loving the restaurant since the early 70's. He never forgot who we were even when we were gone for very long stretches of time. NOBODY makes a better Steak n Cheese in the whole wide world. I wish his family all the strength in the world. I am so sorry.  I now live in Columbus GA but when I come home at Christmas he always remembered and greeted me like an old friend. The beach will sorely miss him.

Our most sincerest condolences to the Faraone Family. It's difficult to move on when you know they're gone ... gone beyond our reach, leaving this mortal world behind. But they have left us memories that no one can take away, memories that will bring forth a smile and conquer the painful tears. It is time to remember them smiling, till we see them next in heaven.

Dear Monica and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Nick was a loving and caring family man. His faith was an example to many as he took on his health issues, never doubting what the Lord had planned for him. His smile, even in difficult times, was always shared for those around him. 

My memories are many, especially when our kids were young and growing into adults. We shared those times and even though we were miles and states apart, I truly enjoyed the times we were together.

May God bless and watch over you all as a part of your life has left this earth. Know with Nick's great faith, he is now enjoying the reward he worked and prayed for, to spend eternity with our Lord. You will continue to be in our prayers as we all try and fill yet another void in our hearts.

I was fortunate to have grown up with Nick's family in Broadview, IL, and was always welcomed into their home. Madeline and the Faraones were my second family and it was always so uplifting to observe the closeness they had. I cannot ever remember Nicky without a laugh and a smile, even when I last saw him at a party at Lorie's.  He was a great guy and will be missed by so many. Monica, he is in a better place, or perhaps that 'place' will be better because of Nicky.

There's one more angel in heaven. I will miss the way you laughed and teased us.  My kids were blessed to called you Papa and I was blessed to call you Dad.  Your daughter is a walking tribute of your love.Love ya buddy.
