He is survived by his wife Dorothy, and son and family, Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Belmonte, grandsons, Mark and Ethan of Round Hill, Virginia. Also, two step-daughters, Annette Potter and Teresa Heimark, and two step-grandsons. He loved boating, American History and Boxer Dogs. He was a much-loved provider and protector of his family, and will be greatly missed by them all.
He authored a book, "Guns That Shaped Our Nation", which blends intricate gun details and American History, great for beginning gun collectors and history lovers.
In lieu of flowers, please consider to donate to his favorite charity Wounded Warriors. The memorial service will be held at Bay Pines Veterans Park.
