Lamb, Michael James 68 of Pinellas County died Wednesday February 25th at Largo Medical Center. Born Sept. 11, 1946 in Quincy, Illinois he was the son of James J. and Betsy Sprague Lamb. Michael moved to the Pinellas County area from St. Louis, Missouri in 1964. He graduated from Florida Presbyterian College with a BA in Economics in 1968. He was a Financial Advisor, Insurance Executive and Entrepreneur. He was of Presbyterian faith. Michael was a member of the National Federation of the Blind, and the Lighthouse of Pinellas, Florida Associate of Guide Dog Users, and was most proud of his 50 year association with the Seeing Eye. He is survived by his son Scott Michael Lamb of Chicago, Illinois, daughter Jennifer Ellen Koerv and granddaughter Barrett Koerv of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, brother Patrick Lamb of St. Petersburg, Fl., and his seeing eye dog “Ridley”. A celebration of life will be 4:00pm Sunday March 1st at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd. Largo, Florida 33774.
