Maureen C. Bolduc, age 95, of Seminole, FL passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. Maureen was born in Cork, Ireland on July 31, 1928, but moved with her family to England at a very young age. It was there that she met her future husband, her forever love, Francis Bolduc, who was stationed in her hometown during WWII.
Maureen in preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Francis Amdie Bolduc, her son Glenn Francis, grandson, Michael, five brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Diana Raspa, son-in-law, John Raspa, daughter-in-law, Merle Bolduc; granddaughter, Nicole Carrera, grandson-in-law, John Carrera, grandson, Jon Anthony Raspa, grandson, Vincent Francis Raspa, granddaughter-in-law, Lauren Raspa, great grandson, Keston Carrera, great granddaughter, Olivia Carrera and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Maureen pursued several interests in her working career; she took a yearlong course in Hotel Management and worked at the Holiday Inn in Edison, NJ. She also took a course in real estate and was a Real Estate Agent. Eventually she went to work for Engelhard Corp. in Human Resources Department and was with them until she retired.
As a retiree, Maureen volunteered at the Hospice Thrift Store in Clearwater; she was also treasurer of the Madeira Beach Seniors Club at Freedom Square. Maureen served on the Resident Board, she also ran the Caring Board for several years, was on the Freedom Square nominating Committee and was treasurer for FLICRA, was Welcome Ambassador, was on the Dining Services Committee and Vespers Committee. In 2015 Maureen was awarded the Resident Volunteer Award.
In the community, Maureen volunteered in the reading program at Ridgecrest School and participated in Anona Methodist program visiting church members in nursing facilities. In a contest in renaming the Bistro/Pub in 2013, Maureen won, naming it The Black Swan. She loved various card and tile games, was proud to have achieved four 300 perfect games in Wii.
