She was born in Knightstown, Indiana on August 15, 1931, and graduated from Shortridge High School, Indianapolis, IN where she met the love of her life, her “Sam,” Frank C. Talbott. They were married in Indianapolis, IN on October 16, 1950, and remained married for 48 years, until Frank’s passing in November, 1998.

She loved cruising best, and in her early 80’s, traveled alone to China and the Far East. Her last trip was about five years ago to Alaska where she cruised with her closest friend of over 50 years, Doris Price.
Marcia was a lifelong and active member of The First Church of Christ Scientist in Seminole, FL, having participated as its First and Second Reader. She had a passion for God, family, travel, history, fashion and reading.
