TACCHINO, Loma K., 85, of Clearwater, FL, passed away on January 1, 2012 at Sabal Palms Health Care and Rehabilitative Center, Largo, FL. Loma was born in Shippensburg, PA and moved to Largo in 1957 from Pittsburgh, PA. She retired in the mid 1970’s as a dietician at Sun Coast Hospital, Largo. She love playing Bingo but most of all enjoyed being “Nana” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loma was preceded in death by her husband, Louis (1988); grandson, Jason Stevens (1997) and brothers, Vernie “Chick” Myers, Charles Myers and Jack Myers. She is survived by her daughter’s, Loma K. Slinker, Largo and Linda L. Tacchino, Clearwater; sister, Margaret Baker, Myers, PA; grandchildren, Michael, Dennis and Rich and great grandchildren, Joshua, Daniel, Erin and Kayla.
