Lois Pauline Pierce

She was born on February 4, 1923, in Columbus Grove, Ohio, to Claude and Elleta (nee Fruchey) Rimer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman; brother, Richard; sister, Naomi Bunn and her husband, Raymond; son-in-law, Lloyd Marvin, Jr.; and nephew, Joe Bunn. She is survived by daughters, Suzanne of Palm Harbor, Cathy of Oldsmar, and Janet Marvin of Seminole; granddaughters, Amy Riley (David) and Katie Bridges (Leroy); great-granddaughters, Olivia and Sophia Riley; great-grandsons Bishop Riley and Benjamin Bridges; nephew Jerry Bunn and family; and Joe Bunn’s widow Carol and family. Before she became a homemaker and mother, Lois was a secretary at Lima Locomotive Works where she met her husband. She and Norm were married for 71 years until his death in 2014. Lois loved caring for her family and playing golf and bridge. She enjoyed music and reading about current events. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

A Memorial Service will be held on April 14, 2023, at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd., Largo, FL at 2 p.m. with Visitation at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1498 Rosery Rd. NE, Largo, FL 33770 or other charity of your choice. Family wishes to thank the staff of Mease Life and Suncoast Hospice for their loving care of Lois in her final weeks.
