Lois and I worked together at the Dept. of Economic and Community Development in the early 70's. Not only was she a great co-worker,  but I am proud to say she was a wonderful friend.  She was there for me during  a very difficult time in my life and I will always remember her kindness. I have thought about her and her daughter Donna often over the years. She will always have a very special place in my heart. 

Lois was a team player always ready to do whatever was needed.  Our work together at the Maryland Dept of Economic Development could be stressful at times -well often, but she always found a way to make it fun.  It was a pleasure to know her and work with her for so many years.  We  were sorry to see her go when she retired and moved to Florida. I'm glad for having known her and know how much you miss her.   You have my deepest sympathy. 

Dear Donna and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Lois was a wonderful woman.  I was fortunate to have been a part of her life, as she was an important part of mine, when I started working for the State of Maryland.  She was a great boss!  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  R.I.P Lois.

Lois was one of the founders of Maryland's economic development program.  I will always treasure her knowledge, expertise, kindness and generosity.  Lois, we will miss you!

I worked with Lois in Maryland a long time ago but I have never forgotten her kindness, energy and support for all of us who worked with her.  My sympathies to her family and friends.
