He is survived by his wife, Liz; acquired daughter, Melissa Whitaker; brother-in-laws, Tony Johannesmeyer, Frank Butts, Bruce Butte; nephews, Ed Karlander, Marcus, Scott, John Johannesmeyer; nieces, Eileen Addis, Susan Merica, Laura Kamosa, Valerie Kirby; his five great nieces, Laurel, Elizabeth, Adrianna, Samantha, and Krista; eight great nephews, Jason, Dustin, Kyle, Matthew, Devin, James, Steven, Michael, Quinn and Charles.
Services to honor John will be held March 3, 2024 at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774. Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Service led by Pastor David Shelor.
The family requests that any donation made in John's honor be made to a charity of your choice.
