A hero is not judged by his fortune or fame;
He is judged by character and respect shown his name.
Perseverance and strength and honest hard work;
Are a few of the virtues, true heroes won't shirk.
Integrity and honor shine through each deed;
And the choices he makes, pave the way and will lead.
A hero accepts a challenge with grace;
Knowing courage and faith will guide every race.
He stands for what is right and never gives in;
For values and beliefs, are important to him.
You are my "Hero", John and always have been
I will love you forever - until eternity ends.
"Only You" make me feel so loved and secure;
I was blessed to have found you and will be evermore.
