Today is Mother's Day and I am thinking about what a wonderful mother you were and how much I miss you mom, we all do so terribly much.  How different life is without the warmth of your presence, your smile, your cheery voice, your touch, your warm hugs, your caring.  I could go on & on oh how I miss you, if only I had spent more time with you here, had not refused your invitations, oh how I regret so many things done and left undone.  I know that we will have forever one day in a perfect place where there will be no regrets.  I want to thank you for the lessons on loving, courage, grace and faith you taught me during those last few months with us, even then you were thinking of us and wanting to take care of us, so gracious such a beautiful lady through those difficult days.  I hug to my heart the words in the chapel at Morton Plant Hospital you spoke them clearly with assurance "I know that I have Eternal Life" and with that I thank our Lord Jesus Christ and I leave you in His loving arms, where you are perfectly loved - until we meet again, I will always love you my precious and wonderful mother - your daugher who is missing you on this day

Janine was a very special lady. What I remember most is looking out my kitchen window and seeing her standing on my sidewalk each day with her dog Roxy waiting for us to come out and bring my dog Tike to see them. Tike was Roxy's boydog. She was a wonderful neighbor and always had a beautiful smile on her face. She will be greatly missed but left knowing how much she was loved by her family and friends. Dear Steve and Ken,

I met your mother once about 10 years ago and so I did not really know her. But based on the words written here and how you both talk about her, I can tell she was a great lady. 

On behalf of the Rask family, I want to offer your our most sincere condolences and empathy in your time of mourning. Largo and Angoulême have both lost a great force for good.

We will be known forever by the tracks we leave, say the native Americans. And Janine has left hers in the hearts and on the faces of her loving husband Ken, their children and grandchildren.

Janine, we miss you here on earth.  But, God has a plan for each of us.  Today, God has called you to be with him.  One day we will be together and we we will laugh and talk about the past.  But, from that moment on we will be together for eternity.  Our prayer is for those left behind that their grief is replaced with joy as they realize how much peace you now enjoy. I just heard about Janine and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family. I was one of her therapists and I always looked forward to working with Janine. I will cherish the memories we shared like having tea together, eating chocolates, and talking about French cooking. I really enjoyed the photo gallery - she was such a lovely person inside and out. She will be greatly missed!

I had met Janine for the first time during my honeymoon in Florida and sometimes in France when she went to visit her sister (my mother in law). She was a very nice person and she was very closed with all members of her family.
I have been very sad to learn her death. There are no words to express my sadness. My thoughts go to all family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bower family.  Janine was my sister's mother in law and her loss will be felt deeply.  She always had a smile on her face and she brought such joy to those who loved and knew her.  She always treated me and my family like her own and for that I will always be grateful.  She has left all of us with many wonderful memories that will keep her alive in our hearts until we see her again...   God Bless

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is. Janine was and is a wonderful and bright person who always had a smile for everyone. I was lucky enough to know her and be close to her. I'm her ex daughter-in-law. She was there for me when I lost my mother and brother less then 1 year ago. She called and sent cards like she would do to try and make things better. That is just who she was. I went to see her in rehab and we had plans to go to lunch when she got better but we never got to go and I'm very sad for that. I was lucky enough to see her move limbs they said she wouldn't and have her squeeze my hand and give me a smile before I left that night. God will welcome her with open arms and I know that he will help those she left behind. We will never forget and she won't leave our hearts but it will get a little easier as time goes on and we all pray for the loved ones she left to live on. I'm so sorry for your loss. Janine was and is a wonderful person. She will always be in our hearts and we will never forget her or her kindness and how much joy and laughter she brought to the family and to everyone she met. She always had a smile and never turned anyone away. I was lucky enough to see her while she was in a rehab home. I was also lucky enough to have her respond to me by moving her side they said never would move. I will always miss her. I'm her ex daughter-in-law and even though ex she still sent cards, and called at holidays and with the loss of my father,and less then 1 yr ago my mother and brother. We were to go to lunch when she got well enough but we never got that chance. I love you Janine and I considered you the last mom I had. Janine was my great aunt, but she was more. She was a little bit like my nana whom she was the sister. I'm sorry, but I prefer to continue in French. 
Tu vas me manquer ma très chère Janine, et je regrette cet océan qui nous a séparé mais qui n'a jamais empêché que je t'aime de tout mon coeur. Tu as toujours été présente pour moi, et jamais je ne t'oublierai.

I am Dylan Costello, and Janine Bower Was a very kind person. She was my Nana and we spent a great deal of time together. We always went to Indian Rocks Beach and the French Bakery. She made the most boring things seem enjoyable. I cherish the time that i spent with her, and I will miss her. Love you Nana.

Janine was a bright shining light everywhere she went. Her smile and warmth radiated. We will always be thankful to have known her and shared time with her.  And we will miss her.
