Born in Bronx, New York, on March 9, 1937, Gloria was the beloved daughter of Florinda and Blas Cianca. She graduated from John Adams High School, earning her high school diploma, and went on to build a meaningful life rooted in love, family, and service.
On August 2, 1958, Gloria married the love of her life, Sal Addeo. Together, they shared a long and devoted partnership.
Gloria dedicated more than 20 years of her professional life to serving her community through her work with the Pinellas County Government. Outside of work, she was an avid traveler and a passionate lifelong learner, particularly through her involvement in Road Scholar programs.
She found great joy in reading, especially the mysteries of Agatha Christie, and had a deep affection for cats, who brought her comfort and companionship over the years.
Gloria is survived by her loving daughter, Alicia Addeo, who will carry on her mother’s spirit, strength, and sense of curiosity.
She will be remembered for her wit, warmth, and unwavering love.
A Memorial Service will be held for Gloria on May 23rd, 2025, at Serenity Funeral Home.
