Dolly graduated from The Mount Catholic High School in Hartford and married Robert L. Zito on July 14, 1952. She worked in accounting for various insurance companies and, alongside Robert, owned a floral and hair salon business.
A dedicated volunteer, Dolly gave her time to Newington Children’s Hospital in Connecticut. She was also the Commodore of the Highland Lakes Yacht Club and actively participated in many community clubs. A proud member of the Red Hat Society, she also served as a Reader at St. Luke’s Catholic Church for many years.
Dolly found joy in reading, tennis, golf, dancing, and her daily prayer time. She loved her church and was passionate about helping others.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Zito; her daughter, Tina Bollenback; her granddaughter, Gina Osmun; and her grandson, Jeb Bollenback.
A visitation for Dolly will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 9:30am - 10:00am with a Funeral Mass at 10am, St. Luke Catholic Church, 2757 Alderman Rd, Palm Harbor, Florida 34684. Dolly will be laid to rest following the mass at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, Florida 33774.
