The world lost a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Deborah Ann Flynn on December 9th, 2021. Deborah had a wealth of love to give and the loss of her will be felt by many. She was eternally kind and generous and would always give to others before taking for herself. She felt most at ease when everyone she loved was comfortable and cared for.
She was born on June 8, 1958 to James Jeter and Helen Crescenzi in Tampa, FL. She grew up on Indian Rocks Beach and always considered it home. She attended Anona Elementary, Largo Middle and Largo High School. She married Michael Flynn on December 24, 1983 and eventually had three children, Kelly, Kimberly and Michael. She adored her sweet grandson Luciano and cherished the time she spent with him. Deborah’s family was her pride and joy. She cherished holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas because it brought her family together. Deborah also loved the beach and hoped to someday retire to a home there. She also had immense love for her pets and other animals which led to her becoming a vegetarian in 2007.
Deborah and Michael operated a successful small business for over 35 years. She always strived to give her family comfort and opportunities that she did not have growing up. Deborah passed away from a long fight with breast cancer on December 9, 2021 surrounded by her husband and children. Her family is comforted knowing that she will always be watching over them just like she did when she was here.
A visitation for Deborah will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774. A funeral service will follow from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a committal service and reception directly after.
