David Rosevear, 83, of Clearwater, FL, passed away on April 22nd, 2024. He was born in West Branch, MI, on May 8th, 1940, to John Oscar Rosevear and Mary Lois (Bourassa) Rosevear. David graduated with an MBA from Central Michigan University and embarked on a career in both freight and funeral sales, where he touched the lives of many with his compassion and professionalism.
David served his country with honor in the US Army from October 1959 to October 1962 before he was honorably discharged.
On June 15th, 1974, David married the love of his life, Nancy Jane (Kippen) Rosevear, with whom he shared nearly five decades of love, laughter, and companionship. Their union was a testament to devotion and partnership.
David's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. He is pre-deceased by his parents, John and Mary Rosevear; his father and mother-in-law, Daniel and Elaine Kippen; and brothers-in-law, Daniel and Jack Kippen. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Rosevear; devoted daughter, Julie Townsend; caring brother, John Rosevear; brother-in-law, James (Jean) Kippen; loving sisters-in-law, Donna Kippen and Debby Kippen; nieces, Melissa (Deric) Winslett, Rebecca (Joshua) Greenia, Jessica (Jay) Sargent; nephews, Jonathan (Katie) Kippen, Matthew (Ganka) Rosevear; great nephews, Kaden Ellis, Nolan Ellis, Gavin Kippen, Ian Greenia, and Anthony Sargent; great nieces, Anna Greenia, Amelia Greenia, Julie Kippen, Lily Kippen, Alexis Sargent, and Makella Winslett.
In addition to his professional pursuits, David found joy in various hobbies and interests, particularly trains/railroads. He will be remembered not only for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends, but his great sense of humor.
David's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories he created during his remarkable journey.
