David Goodman

David C. Goodman, 54, of Indian Shores Fl., formally of Mahanoy City was surrounded by the angels on October 22,to guide him to a special place in heaven. He was born September 8, 1961 a son of the late Cornelius P and Shirley A. Tregellas Goodman. He was the beloved husband, best friend and the love of her life, his wife, Mary (Heffernan) Goodman. He was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. He was also a graduate of East Stroudsburg University. He along with his wife Mary was the owner/operator of International Logisitcs. In addition to his parents David was preceded in death by a brother Patrick in 1987 and a sister-in-law MaryJane Goodman in 2003. He is survived by his wife Mary of Indian Shores, Fl., brothers; Gary and wife Melanie of Barnesville Pa., Rep. Neal P. and his wife Victoria Goodman of Mahanoy City, and Christopher Goodman of Harrisburg, Sisters; Gay A. and husband Mark J Mahal of Minersville, Pa. Nancy, wife of Joel Thevoz of Arlington, Va. and Erin wife of Martin Heckman of Pottsville. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial visitation November 4, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd. Largo, Florida 33774. David has touched so many of our lives with his Integrity Wisdom, and Courage. Dave showed us the true meaning of life with his love, laughter, compassion and gratitude in his heart.
