Darrell Lee Boysel

Darrell, the son of Ruth Ann Null and Herbert Boysel was born on October 6, 1933 in Jeffersonville, Ohio.

Darrell (Lee) served in the U.S. Navy 1953-1956 as a Radio, Electrical Repairman. He was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan aboard the USS Harry Hubbard.

Following discharge from Service, he returned to Washington CH, Ohio and then moved to Columbus where in 1961 he met and married F. Helen Blankenship-Bush. Helen had three girls from a previous marriage, Sylvia, Linda, and Elaine. Lee never hesitated to include the girls as a part of his new family.

He moved his new wife and family to Seminole, Florida in 1961. Two years later, they were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Janice Leigh.

In the mid 60's Lee and Helen moved to Brighton, Michigan. They joined the Brighton Wesley Church and shared many wonderful Christian experiences, friendships and events with their new friends and their families.

Their own family grew once more as they welcomed their grandson's, Burton, Thomas, and Dwain into their home to raise as their own.

Darrell held a Master Electrician License, Certification in Air Conditioning, Heating-Refrigeration in the State of Michigan and was the owner of Lee Lectric in Brighton, Michigan. After the family moved back to Seminole, Florida, he expanded his trade experience and licensing to include Plumbing.

During this same time, he attended Trinity College in Dunedin, FL and in Sept 1980, as Rev Lee Boysel, received his Certificate of Ordination from Christian Fellowship International. He went on to lead what was then known as The Chapel on Wheels, supported by Harvest Temple Church, on Clearwater Beach for several years.

Lee, as most friends and family knew him, was a kind, generous, loving, man. He is now blessed to be with the God he loves, the wife and daughter he adored, and all his family and friends who passed before him.
