Danielle Leigh Danford, age 45, passed away Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Bayfront Medical Center in St Petersburg, Florida, after a long battle with many health issues, she is finally at rest. Danielle was born September 9, 1972 in Massillon City Hospital in Massillon, Ohio, with Spina Bifida. She was a 1993 graduate from St. Petersburg High School, where she resided with and was cared for by her mother Sandra and step-father Mark Ott, who survives her. She is also survived by her Father and step-mother Edward and Donna Danford. As well as, her sister Annette Bagwell, two brothers, Kevin and Rick Danford. Danielle was dedicated to her family and enjoyed her many nieces and nephews; Jeremy, Brooke, Clayton, Travis, Dakota, Seth, Morgan, Porsche, Madison, Alex and her great niece Rylenn, all who loved her dearly. Danielle was a loyal friend, touched the lives of many, and will be dearly missed.
Danielle lived life, never letting her health issues confine the beautiful soul she had within her. She was able to fulfill her dreams of living independently in Northern Florida for 5 years. She showed everyone that hope, strength, and love can get you through anything. Her love for her family and friends was always apparent. One of her favorite places to visit was “The Jetties” in Venice, Florida where you could often find her in solitude watching the dolphins dance for her. She is now free to dance with the dolphins and will be watching over all who loved her. Her passing has left huge holes in her family and friends hearts. She was taken way too soon.
