Cora Bennett

Bennett, Cora M., 97 of Largo died Thursday January 19 at the Sabal Palms Health Care Center. Born May 2, 1914 in Jersey City, N.J. she was the daughter of William S. and Anna Hassett Jacob. Cora was a Dept. Supervisor for Continental Life Insurance Co. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, she had a “green thumb” and loved to paint. Cora married the late Alfred Bennett in 1937 , he died in 1969. She is survived by her brother Edward Jacob of Tampa, nine nieces and nephews, thirteen great nieces and nephews and 8 great great nieces and nephews. Friends and Family may call 4-7pm Thursday Jan. 26 at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home-Serenity Gardens Chapel, Largo. A Funeral mass will be at 10 am Friday January 27 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Largo. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater.
