Carol Ann Burmood

Carol Burmood, beloved by all she met, transitioned to her eternal home in heaven on August 3rd, 2024. Carol was born on September 1st, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland to Walter & Eugenia Paul. She grew up in Dundalk, Maryland with her two sisters. Carol graduated from Patapsco High School.

Later in life Carol attained a bachelor’s degree in theology at Faith Theological Seminary and a master’s degree in education and counseling from The University of South Florida. Carol also authored a self-help book entitled “You Are HERE”, which was published in 2021and co-authored with her close friend Desiree Smith-Collis.

Carol’s memory lives on through her husband of 27 years Dean Burmood, Daughter Alexandra (Ali) Tessitore. Son in Law Stephen Tessitore, Grandchildren Ethan, Ella & Emme, Sister’s Diana Huhn & Eugenia (Cookie) Magee, Nieces Julie, Jamie & Leigh, Nephew Ryan.

As a follower of Jesus, Carol was a shining example of love, faith and compassion. Carol deeply touched the lives of countless individuals. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult and sudden time. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00pm September 1st, 2024 at Harborside Christian Church. 2200 Marshall St, Safety Harbor, FL 34695. There will be a reception following the service at the same location.
