RIVES, Browder Walker, of Clearwater, died Friday, October 21, 2016. A native of Mobile, AL, she moved here in 1967. She was a life-long devotee of the arts and of programs for children. She promoted volunteer in-school arts programs, as well as musical and theatrical training and free symphony concerts for area school children. She was a member for more than 25 years of the Clearwater/Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Society of Arts and Letters and served many years as chair of its Community Award honoring arts advocates. She was a past Regent of the Clearwater Chapter DAR and Florida State Chair of its Bicentennial conference, and a past member of Belleair Country Club. Survivors include a son, Edward Bagley of New Port Richey; a daughter, Grace Boykin of Fairhope, AL; a stepson, Howard P. Rives III, of Largo; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016 at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, ph# 727-562-2080.
