Betty Jane Sofia

She was born on December 31, 1941 in Rochester, New York to Anthony and Francis Sofia.

Betty was married to Robert Marrocco and then later married to Terry Richardson.

She enjoyed careers in homemaking, waitressing, Chicago Dog & Dairy business owner with Terry and worked in retail at Bealls.

Betty is survived by her children, Michael Marrocco (Christine), Deborah Hopper (Walt Romanov), Robert Marrocco, Anthony Marrocco (Kimberly), Sherry McCelland (Will Birdwell), Nichol Richardson (Andrew Spataro); grandchildren, Joey, Anthony, Cece, Giovanni, Anthony Marrocco (Ayla), Katina Anderson (Chris), Angelina Marrocco, Katelyn Serafine, Faith Serafine, Ethan Richardson; and great grandchildren, Bentley and Ember Marrocco, Vanessa Marrocco, Luna, Willow, and Parker Anderson.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.

The family welcomes friends to continue the celebration with lunch served at the home of Anthony and Kimberly after the services at 9411 125th Street Seminole, FL 33772.
