She was a homemaker; a bank teller at Clearwater Federal Savings and Loan, Clearwater, FL and was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Largo, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Petersen (1982). She is survived by her daughters, Christine Magagnos, Sarasota, FL, Susan Petersen (William Vahle), Indian Rocks Beach and Nancy Staggs, Largo; grandchildren, Nancy Monyhan, Ft. Myers, FL, Melanie Puckett, Missoula, MT, Tom Vahle, Mission Hills, KS, Jamie Staggs, Wesley Chapel, FL, Susan Staggs, Brandon, FL and Christopher Staggs, Virginia Beach, VA and great grandchildren, Jonah, Rebekah, Katie, Amanda, Melanie, Jack and Daniel; sister, Eileen Eggleston, West Palm Beach, FL and sister in law, Lilo Petersen, Bedford, TX.
