Barbara E. Fournier Gary-Campas, 93, of Largo, FL, passed away on November 22, 2024. She was born in Syracuse, NY, attended Nottingham High School, and graduated from Skidmore College. A former teacher at Pebble Hill Academy, she went on to be a principal at Cottingham School, a private school in Indian Rocks Beach.
Barbara was happiest spending time with family and on the golf course. She was an avid golfer and played into her nineties.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. Louis G and Mary D. Fournier and her brother Louis G. Fournier Jr., as well as other family members and friends. She dearly loved and is survived by her children, James L. Gary of Tarpon Springs, FL, John R. Gary of Frisco, TX, Barbara G. Dunn of Largo, FL, and Susan G. Costello of Bushnell FL; grandchildren, Mary D. Rebetti, Taylor G. Martinez, John A. Gary, Victoria G. Gross, Susanna C. Singleton, and Kendall N. Gary; three great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews.
A mass in her honor will be held at 10:00am, Friday, November 29th, at St. Patrick Church, 1507 Trotter Rd, Largo, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the National Education Foundation.
