SMITH, Alvin J., 80, of Largo, FL, died, March 26, 2013. Alvin was born in Freeville, NY . Before moving to Florida, Alvin owned a dairy farm in McLean, NY. He was owner of Continental Auto Body Repair, Largo. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Largo since 1971 where he volunteered in many ways. He was a Veteran of the US Army, enjoyed golfing, gardening, computers and travel. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Julia; sons, Bruce and Brian; daughter, Cinthia; mother, Neita Noble; brothers, Philip , Thomas and Joseph and Mortimer and1 grandchild, Nicole. Viewing will be from 6-8 pm Monday at Moss-Feaster Funeral Home, Largo. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Largo with burial to follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to Suncoast Hospice.
