I had the priviledge of working for Alex in Chicago back in the early 70's at Alexander Machine Co. I visited Alex & Mary Ann in Clearwater, FL. in 1976 and so it is with sadness that I learned of his passing. I will cherish my memories of him forever. Mary Ann my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Alex was a pillar of our art group and was not only a gifted painter, but a kind, generous and encouraging man. We will miss him terribly.

I am so sorry to hear of Alexs' passing. I really enjoyed talking with him and appreciated his advice in all things "arty". He was a very lovely man and talented artist. I will always think of him with great fondness.
