For those of us that spent time with William his last few days, we will cherish his true spirit.
William was equal parts charismatic as he was introspective. He spent much of his life quiet and observant but as quickly could have you in tears with a humorous one liner from his favorite characters, Cheech and Chong. As a child, William embraced the spotlight and was not afraid to showcase his dancing skills and funny personality. At a young age, William enjoyed fishing - finding it to be a respite from the daily struggles of life. Growing up, William could be found on the banks of the Grand River or at the Fish Ladder in Old Town, showcasing his catch of bass, bluegill and perch. He was a hard worker. William was devoted, loyal and loved with his whole heart. William always found a way to leave an impact on all of those he came in contact with and will be forever missed.
William will be truly missed by Leah Blake. Surviving are his mom, Darlene Alvarado; brothers, James and Vincent Alvarado; aunts and uncles, Ben and Loni (Hackney) Alvarado, Ed Alvarado, Rose (Alvarado) and Rob Moye, Joan Alvarado, Will and Francesca (Alaniz) Alvarado, Chrissi Steffani; sister - in - law Megan (Ulicny) Alvarado; nephew Landon Alvarado; and several family members in California.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Twyla Dee Steffani and grandmother, Sue Steffani; grandparents Matilde and Pedro Alvarado; and his pup he loved, Harley.
