William Royer Adams (Bill), 80, of Lansing, MI, passed away on January 31, 2024, surrounded by family. William was born to the late Elijah Carter Adams and the late Willa Mae Adams on July 22, 1943, in Detroit, MI. He relocated to Lansing, MI after the completion of his master’s degree from the University of Michigan. He spent his career in counseling, actively serving others. Bill was creative and enjoyed golfing, painting, poetry, and watching animals in their natural habitat. He was kind, humble and patient yet forthright.
He leaves to cherish his memories: 4 children; Shane Odell Adams, Heath Odell Adams, Cieera Roshele Adams, Dalton Hunter Adams and a host of siblings, nephews, nieces, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Elijah Carter Adams, his mother Willa Mae Adams and his soulmate Catrina R. Bady-Adams.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Bill and Mary from Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan for their comforting care.
A Memorial Service will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel in Lansing, MI.
