Thomas Robert Hillard

Born April 11, 1941 in Eaton Rapids, MI to Robert and Bernice Hillard, passed away on October 18, 2011 at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, George Gettys; son, Robert; brother David; and sister, Marie Griffin. Surviving are his beloved wife Brenda, daughters, Janice (Dan) Lambrix, Jeri Lynn Garcia, Erin Hillard; step-daughter, Crystal Ries; sons, Everett (Vivian), and William (Jennifer) Hillard; brother, Richard (Linda Brown) Hillard; sisters, Janet Griffin, Maxine (Jerry) Green and Marion (Paul) Smith; special niece, Terry Pierpoint. He was a devoted truck driver with NTB for many years. He loved to watch sports and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing with the Rev. Glen M. Ray Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Friends desiring may make contributions to the St. Vincent Home for Children, 2800 W.
