Shirley May Cornell, 78, passed away December 2018. She was born April 12, 1940 to Forrest and Esther (Bott) Stephens in Grand Rapids, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest Cornell; 3 brothers, Forrest, Gordon, and Jim Stephens; grandson, Brandon Seidel; parents-in-law, Melvin and Margaret Cornell; brothers-in-law, James Cornell and John Cornell; and sister-in-law, Glenda Anderson. She is survived by 3 daughters, Christine Cornell, Diane (Jon) Pohl, and Kim (Jeff) Seidel; son, Mark (Bea) Cornell; 10 grandchildren; sister, Joyce Ensign; sister-in-law, Wanda Stephens; in-laws, Connie Cornell, Allen (Ann) Cornell, Ruth Cornell, and Tom (Cathy) Cornell; and many nieces and nephews who had a special place in her heart. She was a member of Ludington St. Paul United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading; had a passion for gardening and growing flowers; and loved crafting.
