I am sorry for your loss. I am blessed to have known Mr. Ron Scott and the Scott family in my youth. Mr. Scott had a profound impact on my life.

To all the family my and Linda's condolences. I've known Ron for about fifty years.  After he became director of New Churches of Christ Evangelism he filled the Pulpit many times at Calvary Christian Church in Swartz Creek Michigan that was started by his predecessor Virgal Feldon in 1968. So many years so many new churches.

Mikie and family: You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time and if I could be there in person a hug would best express my feelings.   i know that your faith, inner strength and the power of God's love will carry you and your family through the days ahead. This is Roger Johnson, an MHS football teammate. When I started playing with Ron I knew he was a special person. Later discovered Ron was a Christian man. I played the end position and punter. He was the team center. Every snap was perfect. We made a good duo. Then later I was not surprised to learn he became a Pastor. Until just reading the accolades attributed to him I didn’t realize the powerful servant of the Lord he was. His impact had to be fantastic. I won’t forget his legacy. Neither will others he served, much less our Lord and Savior.

A friend from high school. Ron also lived in East Muskegon. I remember the four friends: Ron, Dave Kendall, Ralph Ridderman, & Jim Saylor.
It is very evident that Ron used his abilities to the utmost for family, friends, & community.
Deepest sympathy to Miki & family. So sorry for your loss.

I met Ron while a student and also a youth minister in the Lansing area.  (1988) Ron was always encouraging and very upbeat with me.  His passion was to see the church grow.  Any time I ran into him he always encouraged me.  On several occasions early in my ministry, I contacted Ron for advice at the church where I was working.  He was a huge blessing to many.
