Ronald Edward Bryant

Ron graduated from St. Mary High School in 1960 and served honorably in the United States Navy. Ron spent most of his career as a salesman working for Wurzburgs, Knapps and the JC Penney Company. He provided excellent customer service and had regular customers seek him out.

Ron was married to Elaine Bryant in 1963. They had three children together; David (Cindy) Bryant, Lisa Conklin, and Michelle (Heidi) Bryant, Ron was a proud grandpa to; Anna (Steve) Homan, Sophia Dickerson, Emma Dickerson, Shannon (Jacob) Tijerina, Alison Bryant and Colin Bryant, and great grandpa to; Josie, Julia, and Lucy Tijerina. Ron’s family was his world, and it was evident by the many photos he had placed throughout his home. For the last 26 years, Ron shared his life with his partner; Sharon Stacher, and her family. They loved attending concerts in the park, dancing, laughing, and making new friends.

The simple things in life brought Ron joy; a fresh snowfall, fall colors, a cup of hot coffee, photographs, or an unexpected text from a family member. His kind and friendly nature drew people to him, especially babies. His neighbors called him the sweetheart of the neighborhood. Ron never met a stranger.

A Celebration of Life for Ron will be held on January 7, 2023 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes – Tiffany Chapel, 3232 West Saginaw Street, Lansing, MI 48917, with visitation starting at 1:00PM and service following at 2:00PM.

In lieu of donations, please pay it forward through a simple act of kindness or service in Ron’s memory. If everyone does this the world will be a better place.
