Nancy Elaine Wells

Nancy will fondly and forever be remembered by her family as being the great mother, sister, and aunt that she always was. She adored and cherished her daughter beyond compare and lit right up whenever she spoke of her, which was very often.

Nancy had a very unique trait to her that left an impression on people who were lucky enough to witness it. She had an unusually good memory and her ability to recount and recall events, dates, ages, etc. was so precise and spot-on that it left people baffled and intrigued. She loved everything Disney and was an avid Spartans fan. She very much enjoyed collecting snowman figurines and had an impressive collection which she accumulated over the years.

Nancy was a giver. She gave herself to God, to her family, her friends, her church, and anyone and everyone who needed help. She had a deep-rooted faith and attended the Pennway Church of God. She will be deeply missed and her memory cherished by all who were privileged to know her and love her.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Sara Wells; two sisters Deborah Shevrovich and Susan Peake (Matt); one brother Dennis Shevrovich (Cinda); one nephew Joshua Mills; and one niece Krista Mills. She is preceded in death by her parents.

The family humbly asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the church that Nancy loved so much, Pennway Church of God.

A visitation will be held for Nancy on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W Saginaw St. Lansing, 48917.

A funeral service will be held for Nancy on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11am at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W Saginaw St. Lansing, 48917, with Reverend Doug Irving of Pennway Church of God, officiating.

Immediately following the service, will be a funeral procession to Maple Ridge Cemetery for interment, 4149 E Willoughby Rd. Holt, MI 48842. From there, friends and family are invited to a luncheon at the Pennway Church of God, 1101 E Cavanaugh Rd. Lansing, 48910.
