Age 84, our loving mother, grandmother, passed away March 9, 2016 at her home. Born March 28, 1931 in Morris, Illinois. Mary was a resident of Lansing for the past 10 years, moving to be near her family.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Lucinda "Cindy" and Thomas Bergstrand; 6 grandchildren Christy (Joe) Tomlinson, Kelly Rose, Kevin Rose, Tiffany (Todd) Czworniak, Many (John) Beach, and Sara Bergstrand; 6 great-grandchildren, Ivy Beach, Chloe Beach, Amelia Czworniak, Tori Tomlinson, and Conor Tomlinson; sister, Nettie Mae Beem, and many other family members and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne H. Rose, and her son, Gary Wayne Rose.
Services will be held later in Morris, Illinois. For those wishing, contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice in memory of Mary Ellen Rose.
