Mary Joanna Marin

Born November 16, 1953 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edwin F. and the late Margaret Grace Langhenry, passed away February 6, 2013, surrounded by her family, at the age of 59. Mary served as the Executive Director for the Family Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs and dedicated her life to her children and to serving families of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her mother. Surviving to cherish her memory are her father, Edwin; partner, Larry of Lansing; son, David E. (Amanda); daughter, Margaret Grace; sisters, Anne (Anthony) of Chagrin Falls, OH, Sara of Lakewood, OH; brothers, Edwin, Jr. (Deborah) of Bay Village, OH, Joseph P. (Kim) of Westlake, OH, James M. (Mary) of Chicago, IL and Patrick (Raissa) of New York, NY; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 11, 2013 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Inglot as celebrant. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the CICU staff of Sparrow Hospital and to the staff of Sparrow Hospice for the loving care given to Mary.
