Born Jan 22, 1932 to Wayne & Ida Carey, our loving mother passed away Thursday, Jan 13, 2011. Marcy loved her flower garden, her puzzles and her crosswords, but her grandchildren were her greatest love. Marcy is preceded in death by her husband James D. Ashley; her parents Wayne Carey and Ida Pettit; sister Delores Gritzmacher; and mother-in-law Mildred Ashley. She is survived by her children Don (Tammy) Ashley, Dennis Ashley, Denise (Steve) Piggott; grandchildren Mickie, James, Chris, William, Jamie, Jennifer, Joseph; 4 great grandchildren; sister Pat (Chris) Mollitor; brother Duke (Sharon) Carey; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, Jan 17, 2011, at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, with visitation one-hour prior to service. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday at the funeral home.
