Born March 2, 1942 in St. Johns, New Foundland, Canada, the son of John and Genevieve Lambert, passed away January 19, 2012 at the age of 69. Mack served his country in the US and Canadian Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a very warm hearted man who cared deeply for others. Mack loved nature and birds. He had a big imagination and a great sense of humor. He also had a friendship with “Bill W” of over 30 years. Surviving him are his spouse of 16 years, Phyllis; brothers, Dennis (Jeannie) Lambert and Bill Heatley. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated, 11:00 a,m., Monday, January 23, 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Rd., East Lansing with Rev. Mark Inglot, officiating. Interment will take place Tuesday, 2:30 p.m at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing and one hour prior to the Mass at church. A rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
