Lynda was born on August 9, 1953, to Milo and Doris (Rohrbacher) Ross in Lansing, Michigan, where she was raised with her four siblings. She married Gerald Lewis Fuller on December 29, 1972. While married to Jerry, they welcomed three children into the world. Lynda loved being a mother and always considered herself “the jack of all trades;” she worked for the American Red Cross, Lansing City Market, and as a custodian for Judson Baptist Church. Lynda was a devoted member of Judson and was a member of the choir until 2020. Lynda would always brag that her special accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. Wherever and whatever her children and grandchildren were doing is where you would find Lynda; and she was easily recognizable by her booming voice. When she wasn’t with her children and grandchildren, you could find her helping at her church, crafting, crocheting, or doing word searches, sudoku, and puzzles. Lynda was larger than life, and she loved to laugh, dance, sing, and to sit and visit. She would always tell you to “take no prisoners and kick butt” and if you needed her, she would be there as back-up.
Lynda is survived by her children, Ronald (Erin Honan) Fuller, Shannon-Lynn (Randy) Neller, Tonya (Mike) Sober, 25 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her two older sisters, and many other loved ones. Lynda is preceded in death by her first husband Gerald Fuller, son Christopher Fuller, grandson Carson Randy Neller, sister Ruth Ann Cheeney, brother Ronald E. Ross, and her parents Milo and Doris Ross.
The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel, 900 E Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912, on Wednesday, April 9, from 4pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 10, at 10am at Judson Baptist Church, 531 Glendale Ave., Lansing, MI 48910. The family asks for something blue to be worn in honor of Lynda’s favorite color.
Lynda lived life to the fullest and held a special place in her heart for all her loved ones. She will be missed greatly as heaven gained our biggest and loudest cheerleader.
